Kangxi Monochrome Green Glazed Bowls



Chinese delicate Kangxi Period conical shaped bowls, with finely incised dragons chasing “the flaming pearl” along the sides and in the central medallion, ground is with a monochrome green glaze, both have the apocryphal Ming dynasty mark of Jiajing (1522-1566). The Ming dynasty mark was not used to deceive, but to pay reverence to an earlier period.
