Japanese antique porcelain Arita vases baluster shape vases are finely painted with prunus branch and butterflies in flight on white ground, while the other side is of cobalt blue ground with stylized leaves in light blue-green color, small red chrysanthemums, finely scrolled gold accent throughout. The border around the bottom is an alternating bold pattern. The inside lip is painted with repeating pattern, half-circles, pale yellow stylized leaf motif with pale blue-green cloud like shape. |
